Sermon Series: This Little Light of Mine 

With childlike innocence we sang this song, probably having no idea what an important incentive it included for all God’s children. We revisit this song now, as adults. Do we really have God’s light within us? And are we really supposed to disseminate that light? How do we do that amidst the busyness of life? As we explore what these words mean to us as adults through the concepts of perspective, balance and joy, we’ll hope to, again, find the light that once changed our lives and can do so again in a much needed and more permanent way. If your flame is burning brightly, join us as a shining example to those who need to see God’s love in you. If your flame has been snuffed out or is burning low, join us as we seek to rekindle “this little light” within each of us.
