Ken Jenkins photography exhibit and Christian testimony

Ken Jenkins is a nationally know natural history photographer, Christian author, lecturer, and outdoor adventurer.  For more than 30 years his photographs and articles have appeared in publications such as National Geographic and Southern Living.  Galleries across the country have exhibited his work.  In 1990, Ken developed the initial concept of Wilderness Wildlife Week, an event that still draws over 20,000 participants to Pigeon Forge TN each year and has been awarded the Pinnacle Award for the country’s best educational event.  Jenkins’ second gallery, Heaven’s Eyes, was established to provide a place for Ken to use his photography as a background against which to share biblical truths.  Proceeds from Jenkins’ Heaven’s Eyes publications are used to continue his ministry of Christian witness.  Jenkins has said “It’s not about me.  Almighty God allows me to push a button and record a split second of His majesty.”

Wednesday will be our Rain Forest Adventure Day, so be sure to wear your suit and sunscreen.  Some sun supplies will be provided. We will learn a Bible story, play water games, make our own snacks and go through the Rain Forest on a tractor. Friday will be our Treasure Hunt Adventure Day. This day you will actually go on a treasure hunt. You will have to follow clues and do certain things at each station before you can continue. There will be a surprise treasure for each participant- if you follow the clues. You will learn another Bible story, and again make your own snacks. Treasure Hunt supplies will be provided.  This is going to be a great week, so come and invite a friend. However we need to know how many will be coming.
