Our 135th Anniversary
The historical worship service on Sunday, September 13, was wonderful. Now we look forward to the major celebration of our anniversary, the 135 Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, October 4. This service will be a glorious homecoming of past members, ministers, Timothys and Priscilias, coming back to praise God for 135 years of ministry at First Christian Church. John Mobley will share the morning message with pastors serving as worship leaders. Following the service the Fellowship Mission will share a great lunch of: Roast Loin of Pork, Mashed Potatoes, Herb Roasted New Potatoes, Asparagus w/ Lemon Butter Sauce, Buttered Broccoli Almondine, Marinated Shoepeg Corn Salad, Fresh Chilled Relishes, Birthday Cake, Vanilla Ice Cream, Coffee, Iced Tea and Water. The cost for the meal will be $7 for adults, children 5-10 years $3 and children under 5 are free. Please make your reservation on the envelopes in the pews by registering online, or by using the envelopes in the pews.
