A mens bible study on the Gospel of John is each Thursday evening at 7:00 PM at the church.

Apostle John stated in chapter 20:31“But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name”.

This one hour study will be conducted each week with Pastor Edd as the leader & assisted by some members of Mens Monday Morning Bible Study.

All men of the church & their friends are invited.

All you sports fans will want to attend Men’s Night at the church Monday, August 30 at 6:30pm.

For the non sports fan (I don’t know any in ALA?) Gene will also share with us some very exciting things going on in both the business and sports world here in Birmingham. You will definitely want to invite your male family, friends, and neighbors to hear the latest news.

Gene Hallman is President, CEO of the Bruno Event Team responsible for bringing both professional and amateur sports to Birmingham. Additionally, he created The Alabama Sports Foundation in 1995 and currently serves as Executive Director.

So come on out and enjoy a great meal by the James Gang, under the tutelage of His Eminence, Steve Pasky. 

On Sunday, August 29th we will have our 5th Sunday Pot Luck after worship in the Family Life Center. Bring your favorite dish. 

Our hot food cabinet in the kitchen will keep your food warm.

The Fellowship mission will provide drink and dinnerware.

 The nursery will be open.

The Alabama/Northwest Florida region will hold its annual back to school lock-in at our church August 14-15. Together, we will enjoy fun, fellowship, Bible study, and worship. It begins at 7:00 pm on Friday and concludes at 10:00 am on Saturday. This lock-in is open to all 6-12 graders. Chi Rho/CYF youth will be receiving forms in the mail. The cost is only $10 to be paid at the door. Bring your sleeping bag, a pillow, personal toiletries, and a great attitude as we fellowship with youth around the region. See you there!

That’s where we need your help.  You would be surprised how much your experiences can help and inspire others going through similar trials.  Come join us as we discuss events that affect us all and learn how the Word of God and the testimonies of others can help us all overcome.  I look forward to seeing you on Sunday, May 2nd.   

All Mission Council members are encouraged to attend the Mission Council meeting Monday, July 19 at 6:30 pm.

Please make a special effort to attend since Mission Council only meets every other month.

Every Monday morning at 7:00 am in the Fireside Room, there are 15 men studying the Minor Prophets.

All men are invited to participate in these precious moments of study and fellowship.

Coming up July 15-20 is the Vacation Bible School on Andros Island in the Bahamas. We are celebrating the 25th year of this Mission. If you would like to participate with a monetary donation, why not $25 for 25 wonderful years? Be sure to mark your check "Andros".   

It’s showtime! The “Show Stoppers” will perform tap dancing for us at noon, Wednesday, June 30. 

After a great lunch we will be in for a treat!  Some mature dancing, costumes, music, glitter, all the best – just for you!
